Paranoid Much?

Okay sorry for the blurry camera phone shots but I had to share this one with the world. I wonder what the UPS guy thought of this one, on the other hand, they probably see alot of this....there are alot of crazy people out there......

Really?!? Why even put it in a box? Why not just wrap it with tape and ship it as is?

I'm wondering what is in the box....

Pet Peeve #1

So, Here is my first pet peeve. It drives me crazy when I'm standing at the crosswalk or even driving by the crosswalk and I see someone repeatedly press the crosswalk button. YOU ONLY HAVE TO PRESS IT ONCE PEOPLE! I would guess that maybe this part of me that goes crazy when I see someone press the button over and over and over come from being an electrician and knowing that when you press it once there is a little relay that sucks in and tells the light that you are there. Until I saw a fellow electrician press the button over, and over, and over! WHAT?!?! Does he not get it either or am I just that much smarter than he is? No matter how many times you press that button the really still stays activated. Pressing it more than once is totally redundant and not necessary! My husband does it just to bug me. I try to put myself between him and the button when ever I get the chance, fortunately we don't walk much since we live out in the middle of nowhere.

Ahhhh, I feel better now that I have vented this morning! :)

On My Answering Machine

So last night I came home to the following message on my answering machine:

"Hi Tyler, I'm home from California. I can't wait to see you in the first grade. I know it's still summer. I miss you . I love you. Bye."

Yeah, my son turns six nine days! This is not the first time I've heard this little voice on my answering machine for my son. When we asked Ty who it was he got this silly little grin on his face and gave us a name of a boy. Ben looked at him with the "I know that's not true" look on his face and asked him again. Hailey is her name according to my son.

Anyway, I had Ty give her a call back. Ben said that I wanted Ty to call her so I could watch my son talk to a girl. I just rolled my eyes. The real reason I had him call her back is because she's called our house probably four times this summer, always during the day when we aren't there. Ty has never called her back. I just think it' would be a bad habit for him to start dodging calls this early in life. How many of you have had someone just ignore your messages, yeah pretty annoying. I was just trying to teach my son some common courtesy, that's all.

When someone calls you, call them back. Telemarketers excluded: Dodge all of their calls.

My Big Secret!

I know some one who has great news! They could be moving, or maybe it's a vacation, maybe they are adding to their family. Or maybe they won the lotto. No matter what it is once I tell you who and what everyone can celebrate! For my family and friends, IT'S NOT ME. I can't officially say who it is but I had to share my news. I was about to explode!

This doesn't count as spilling the beans right? Cause I was sworn to secrecy.....But since I didn't give any names or details I'm still legit........

First Season Down, Many To Go!

So my first season of indoor soccer is done and over, now all I have to do is wait for next season........Yeah, next season starts THURSDAY! YEA!!!!! Who has to wait? Not me. Indoor goes year round! Good thing my husband hasn't found the softball league that plays year round.
This was our awesome team that came so far in one season. I had six goals this season. Now I have a goal for next season, get better! I have to work on my foot work. I don't stay on my toes enough, that's just being lazy! And I hate getting beat. Not on the scoreboard but when one girl has the ball, I want it, and she comes away with it! Grrrrrrrrr, drives me CRAZY! I'm working on that one too. Oh and I'm gonna try to stay in the line of the pass. Always know where they are going to move the ball to and get there to prevent. Ummm, I think I might be sounding like a high school coach, or my Dad (I love you dad, that's a compliment, it showed you cared!).
I love that soccer happens every week, I hate buy weeks. Oh and I'm working on the soccer video, Misty, maybe we can work together on that one......
